• Every paid engagement has a signed agreement: our master services agreement and an order form, with a statement of work where needed, plus a data processing addendum and security addendum on request. Scope, fees, timing, confidentiality and data handling are set there. Where the agreement differs from this page, the agreement governs.
• Flat fees, fixed before we start. Prices on our pricing page are list prices; your order form sets the fee. A fee never depends on the number of findings, and a certification fee never depends on whether the release passes.
• The free 20-task audit costs nothing and carries no obligation. We may decline or reschedule a request, for example when a task format needs support we have not built yet.
• Launch partner audits are free, carry no obligation to buy, and are set out in a short written agreement, including what, if anything, either side may say about the engagement.

Every finding we publish comes with its evidence and a way to re-run it. Our search is built to find wrong work that a grader pays for. No search can prove a grader has no holes, so the shares we report are floors, not ceilings, and each number is stated with the scope it was measured on. Findings are produced and checked by automated search and AI models, and each must pass a mechanical check in fresh containers; where a person reviewed findings, we say so. Use them alongside your own judgment. Nothing on the site is a promise about your tasks until it is in a signed agreement.

The text, design and files on this site belong to us. You may read them, download the public documents and the reproduction kit, and use them to evaluate and reproduce our work, and you may quote them with attribution. Please do not present them as your own, or change them and attribute the result to us. Plumbline, Plumbline Grader and Plumbline Verified are our names; please do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

Please do not try to break into the site or its form handlers, overload them, scrape them in a way that harms the service, or send content you have no right to share. Good-faith security research is welcome: tell us what you find, as our security page describes. Links to other sites, such as Calendly or the task sets we audit, are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms.

The site is provided as it is, for information. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not promise it will be error-free or always online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using the site itself; paid work is governed by its own agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
