Privacy

We collect little, and say exactly what.

Our site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers and stores no IP addresses. This page lists everything plumblinegrader.com collects, why, where it goes, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. Last updated October 15, 2026.

Who is responsible

Plumbline Grader is operated by IROS Systems LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. We decide how the information on this page is used, so we are responsible for it. Questions go to Shane Cope, founder: shane@plumblinegrader.com

What we collect

  • What you type into a form. The request form keeps your name, email, company, role, what you need, task format, approximate task count, a link to a public task set and your message. A launch partner application also keeps your organization type and where the audit would run. The launch-notice form keeps only your email.
  • A little context with each form. The page and button you sent it from, the time, your country (two letters, supplied by our host from your connection) and your browser’s user-agent string. We do not store your IP address.
  • Page counts. Our own counters add one to a daily total when a page is viewed or a tracked button is clicked, for example “view /pricing: 12”. They store no IP address, no cookie and no visitor ID. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, our counters send nothing at all.
  • Site analytics from our host. Pages load Vercel Web Analytics, which reports page views, referring sites, country, browser, operating system and device type. Vercel states that it uses no cookies and keeps no lasting identifier for you.
  • If you book a call. Our “Book a 20-minute call” buttons open Calendly’s own site. Calendly collects your name, email, any answers you give and the time you choose, under its own privacy policy, and shares the booking with us. Calls run on Google Meet. The link carries one tag (utm_source=website) so the booking shows it came from our website. Calendly’s site may set its own cookies; ours sets none.
  • Email you send us, kept in our mailbox like any business correspondence.
  • If we contact you first. We write to people whose work relates to ours, using a work email and job title from public sources such as a paper, a code repository or a company website, or from Apollo.io, a business contact database.

After you send a form, your browser keeps your first name and the kind of request you chose in session storage for that tab only, so the thank-you page can greet you. It never leaves your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

How we use it

  • To answer your request, and to scope and deliver the work you ask for.
  • To send the launch notice you signed up for.
  • To see which pages help visitors find what they need.
  • To keep the site and its forms safe from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to train AI models.

Who processes it, and where

We share your information only with the service providers below, only to run the services described here, or when the law requires it.

  • Vercel hosts the site, runs the form handlers and provides Web Analytics. Form entries are saved as private files in Vercel Blob storage, readable only with our access key. Like every web host, Vercel processes your IP address to deliver pages and keeps request logs under its own terms; our code uses the address only in memory to slow down spam and never writes it to storage.
  • Resend delivers a notification email to us with the contents of each request.
  • Google Workspace provides our email and Google Meet, and holds those notifications and any email you send us.
  • Calendly holds the details of any call you book.
  • Anthropic provides Claude, the AI assistant we use to help read, organize and draft replies to requests and email.
  • Apollo.io holds the business contact details we use for outreach.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

If you become a client, your tasks are covered by our signed agreement and data processing addendum, not by this page. How we handle them, and every company that processes them, is on our security page.

How long we keep it

  • Form entries and email: while we are in touch with you and as records of our business, and deleted whenever you ask.
  • Suspected spam is kept apart, so a real request flagged by mistake is not lost, and is deleted on the same terms.
  • Page counts are daily totals with nothing personal in them, so we keep them.
  • Vercel Web Analytics and Calendly keep their data for the periods their own policies set.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email shane@plumblinegrader.com; we act on it and confirm in writing when it is done. To leave the launch-notice list, email us and we remove you. To stop our page counts, turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Keeping it safe

The site is served only over HTTPS, and its content security policy blocks every third-party script. Form entries are stored privately and can be read only with a long access key. More on our security page.

Children and changes

This site is for businesses and researchers, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date at the top. Use of the site is also covered by our terms of use.
